Redemption Kids

At Redemption Church, we believe that children are not only a gift FROM God, but they are important TO God! We believe that Jesus has a plan and a purpose for each and every child, and we want to see kids learn about Jesus in an environment that is loving, safe, and fun!

Redemption Kids has classes during the Sunday morning service for ages 1-year-old through 5th grade where kids can play, have a Bible Lesson, make friends, and grow in their faith. We provide a clean and safe space for them to play and age-appropriate Bible lessons and related activities to help them understand God’s plan and purpose for their lives.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

1 year olds - 1st Graders: 

Children through 1st Grade can be signed in at the Redemption Kids Check-In starting at 9:50am. The class takes time to play until the 2nd-5th graders join them for the Bible Lesson (Babies and toddlers have their own adult to play with them while the older kids have their lesson). After the lesson time, we take time for a fun craft or activity related to the Bible Story to reinforce the theme for that week. Next is snacktime, and then time to finish up activities and crafts before dismissal!

2nd - 5th graders: 

Children in 2nd-5th Grades can be signed in at the Redemption Kids Check-In prior to service, but will STAY WITH THEIR FAMILIES FOR WORSHIP. We believe that kids should participate along with their parents for worship time, get to see what it looks like for grown ups to praise and worship Jesus, and be able to sing and learn from the songs we sing each week! After worship time, 2nd-5th graders can be brought to their class to join the younger kids for their own Bible Lesson. After the lesson, they have fun crafts and activities related to the Bible Story to reinforce the theme for that week. Next is snacktime, and then time to finish up activities and crafts before dismissal!

Things to Note:

*All of our Redemption Kids Volunteers have completed a full background check

*Children must be signed in and signed out of their classroom by an approved adult

*CHECK IN begins at 9:50am and children should be CHECKED OUT right after service ends
